New clarification added: Question:1_what is tender’s provision in case of a delay in fault repair due to the need of a momentarily un-available spare part in the jordan market. Could it be considered as a justified delay?2_What is the general problem with the building?3_Are there any certificates that need to be renewed?4_What is under the laminate on the floors?5_Are the technical specifications available in the arabic language?6_An project manager, a technician and a worker are requested, with specific minimum requirements, who will be employed by the contractor to fulfil the contract. Should the names of these employees be made known to the assigning authority when submitting the offer, or is the notification of these names possible at the contract signing stage?UNOPS Answer:Please refer to the point 37( contrcat managemnet) from Section l (Instrcuctions to Offerors)There is no problem with the building but as any ordinary building, it requires general maintenance All documents are available in English only Please follow the RFP instructions

New clarification added: Question:IF we submitting invoices to the UNOPS via email attachment in a .pdf, .tif, or .jpg image.? Do I need to provide supporting documentation? In order to receive payment for services provided for an acceptable invoice document.!!UNOPS Answer:Please submit the monthly report as requested in section 10(Performance Evaluation and Review) as supporting documentation.

New clarification added: Q- About Table 1: Cost breakdown per deliverable/output Additional Rates for Ad-hoc Requests Item No. 1,2,3,4,5 I want to know how to Estimate the cost in this partis it by meter ?is it by working day ?And what is the criteria that i have to follow to put the Price in this section ?A- as inserted section II Schedule of requirement , ad hoc must be pirced (per visit for item 1 and 2) per square meter for item 3 and 4 , and item 5 Lump Sum.

New clarification added: Q- If a change of labor law results in an increase in the cost of performing the contract, is this something that the awarding authority would wish to benefit from?A- The company is the responsable to deal with their labours so they are commit for one year upon signing the contract. Q- Who will determine whether a change of law has occurred and any changes in contract price – will this go to an expert, adjudication?A- The company have to submit a proposal that comply with beneficiary country law , and the cost price must have flat rate for one year.

New clarification added: Clarification textAbout employeeI want to ask about the time period for hiring staff such as supervisor, technicians?Or it depent on the time of the major maintenance ?And is will they have offices inside the UN building?ClarificationPlease refer to Section II: Schedule of Requirements, from the solicitation documents, where it is mentioned in point#2 (Justification) that UNOPS MR Amman is seeking a qualified Contractor for the provision of general maintenance and related services on a contract basis for a period of one (1) year, with a possible extension of one (1) year upon satisfactory performance and delivery of the services. Please also refer to point# 4 (Scope of Services) from Section II: Schedule of Requirements, which states that the Contractor shall provide general maintenance services from 8.00 am to 5.00 p.m. during working days depending on type and nature of maintenance the Contractor may provide services after working hours including weekends and holidays (24 / 7) as required. One of the Contractor’s employees shall always be reachable by phone and email.

Is there any drawings for the project or we who should make the drawings?A 2. The documents don`t include drawing , it includes the number for rooms. Q 3. New clarification added: Q- I want to ask about this item of documents ( Document name : At least three recommendation letters and references from international organizations & embassies )If this is our first expeience with organizations & embassies , is tht mean we cant submit to the tender ?A- The evaluation criteria depends on cumulative analysis for the proposal and each company have to submit all requirement as mentioned in the RFP, so you can apply for this business opportunity
