New clarification added: CLARIFICATION NOTE No. 2RFQ Ref No: RFQ-SAINTLUCIA-93845-18-003Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Goods/Services -  CONSTRUCTION OF A STEEL FRAME ROOF STRUCTURE AT THE TREATMENT PLANT OF THE DENNERY NORTH WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM IN SAINT LUCIADear Proposers,The following clarifications are relevant to the process mentioned in reference and should be considered in the preparation of your proposals:Question No. 1:“[…] the tender contains a statement under section III, Deliverables: "The activities shall be carried out in Saint Lucia".  Can you please clarify if this means that fabrication must be carried out in St. Lucia?  Or does the tender allow for external fabrication?”Answer No. 1:The structure only needs to be erected in St. Lucia. At the sole discretion of the bidder, the structure can be pre-fabricated externally and then erected at the final location.    Question No. 2“Will the UNOPS allow for sub contract installation service from our sub-contractor in St. Lucia?"Answer No. 2:Yes. UNOPS allows for sub-contracting. However, be reminded that Clause 3.4 of UNOPS’ Minor Works Contract applies:“In the event the Contractor requires the services of subcontractors, the Contractor must obtain the prior written approval of the Employer’s Representative for all such subcontractors.
