Description
1. UNAMI seeks to engage a qualified vendor for the provision of a new gigabit laser system for the UNAMI offices in Baghdad Iraq based upon the most stabile and highest capacity system available to counter the frequent problems with radio interference present using traditional microwave systems. 2. The Provider shall confirm compliance with the UNAMI core requirements as following: 2.1. Provide all materials required for the links between 3 locations and deliver to Baghdad; 2.2. Present UNAMI with brand new and unused equipment as well as a 1 year warranty on all parts; 2.3. Technical support services via telephone and e-mail on 24x7x365 availability; 2.4. Capable of operating in temperatures from -5 to 55 degrees Celsius; 2.5. Vendor must clearly indicate which type of laser is to be used; 2.6. Ability to provide training for 2 technicians on the proposed solution at vendor premises in the correct installation, configuration, integration with a standard Cisco LAN and maintenance of the solution once installed for a period of 5 days. 3. In addition, the interested companies will be requested to complete a UNAMI Vendor Registration Form. To obtain this Form, please contact UNAMI as per the above details. 4. Please note on the following: • This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid. • UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for RFP document. • UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
