1. United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit proposals For the Supply and Delivery of Workshop Spare parts,Miscellaneous items, Batteries and Tires to UNAMI Vehicle Fleet at Erbil, Iraq. 2. UNAMI intends to award a contract for one year from the day contact was signed by both parties. The contract may be extended to an additional Two (2) years, one year at a time subject to satisfactory performance at the discretion of UNAMI. 3. METHOD •The vendor will supply Spare parts, Tires, Miscellaneous items and batteries against written order (UNAMI Supply Orders) issued by the Chief Transport Officer (CTO) or his designated representative to Transport Stores at UNAMI Erbil, Iraq, the Spare parts, Tires, Miscellaneous items and batteries shall be delivered to UNAMI premises located in Erbil, Iraq by the proposed vendor. •The supplied Spare parts, Tires, Miscellaneous items and batteries should carry standard United Nations required warranty or dealer standard warranty of twelve months or as applicable. •Since the entire spare parts and miscellaneous items cannot be listed down so for, any item requested which is not in the list, the proposed vendor shall be requested to provide a quotation for the additional required items, which will be included in the contract as an amendment subject to the CTO or his designated representative review and the issuance of a contract amendment. •The proposer shall have all required access passes and authorizations required to access Erbil, Iraq without any assistance of UNAMI, to enable delivery of the spare parts to UNAMI premises. 4.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly, would issue a Invitation TO Bid (ITB) to those companies who express their interest and meet initial screening criteria as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. In addition, the interested Companies should complete a UNGM Registration at Level 1 or above to be considered further. 5.0 Please note on the following: •This EOI is not an invitation to submit a bid/proposal. •UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for the Tender document. •UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline without citing any reason
