UNFICYP will provide the warehousing and outlet building (unfurnished space) at its Headquarters. It is anticipated that the proposed Contract shall be for an initial period of three (3) years, with the sole option of UNFICYP to extend for two additional one (1) year periods each, commencing on 16 December 2017. 2. It is expected that all UNFICYP personnel will use the facility, however only eligible international personnel (amounting to 1,100) are entitled to purchase tax and duty exempt merchandise. The PX Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment (shelving, refrigeration and cash registers etc.) to operate and manage the facility, be solely responsible for the shipments and importation of the duty/tax free goods in a timely manner and to ensure the uninterrupted supply of goods. 3. UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to the EOI and/or the solicitation process.
