Description
The United Nations seeks vendors to provide software development contractual services for industry standard enterprise applications (such as SAP, multivendor BI, Siebel and PeopleSoft) as well as industry standard frameworks and languages (such as .Net, SharePoint, Python and PHP). Vendors should be capable to cater for the following magnitude of projects: - Small project (3 months x 12 staff) - Medium project (6 months x 20 staff) - Large project (over 6 months x over 20 staff) The vendor is expected to be able to respond to variations in volume requirements as well as shifts in skill requirements. The requirements cover the following domains: • Requirements Analysis and Specification (create new software and maintain existing software) • Software Design • Software coding, integration and testing • Deployment, documentation and training • Small projects such as report creation and minor modifications of existing software The UN will create a roster with vendors based on defined rates and job profiles. The contractual services will be in the form of integrated workforce services and Task Orders based services. The services are to be provided in New York (USA), Brindisi (Italy), Valencia (Spain) and Entebbe (Uganda). In addition, the services are to be offered on an offsite basis with minimal required presence at the UN locations. To qualify, vendors must demonstrate a proven ability to provide these services in reasonable volume and excellent quality and be able to provide references of former or current clients. The initial duration of the contract is 5 years, extendable for two additional one-year periods, upon the sole discretion of the UN and the satisfactory performance of the contractor. This Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) is not a request for proposal or contract. Based on the response from the interested vendors against this REOI and pre-qualification criteria mentioned below, the UN shall make a shortlist of vendors to whom a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be issued with detailed requirement. In response to the REOI, the interested vendors should submit only the Vendor Response Form (attached to this REOI) along with the required documents (mentioned under specific requirements). All the vendors, to be eligible for award of a Contract, must be registered at Level-2 in United Nations Global Market place (UNGM).
