1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the supply, delivery & installation of carpeting, vinyl floor covering, window blinds and curtains on "as and when required'' basis. 2. The Contract will cover materials/services that are required to repair and maintain UNFICYP's premises island-wide. The Contractor(s) shall be able to supply, deliver and install the offered materials/services within ten (10) working days following UNFICYP's request. The major materials to be covered amongst others, under the resulting Contract and the estimated annual quantities are listed below: Curtains Quality Aparicio (300 rm), Underlining of Curtains (50 rm), Curtain Rods (50 pieces), Tie Bags of Curtains (80 pieces), Curtain Rails (100 rm), Wall Brackets (100 pieces), Vertical Blinds Blackout (80 pieces), Vertical Blinds (80 pieces), Window Blinds (25 pieces), Fitted Carpet (50m2), Metal Strip for Edge (50 rm), Welding of Linoleum (350 rm), Plastic Skirting (200 rm), Removing of Old Carpet (200 m2), Floor Leveling (repair of Floor Surface 350 m2), P.V.C Floor Covering (1000 m2), P.V.C Leathered (50m2). 3. The resulting Contract(s) shall be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two (2) additional terms of one (1) year each (3+1+1 years). The anticipated contract commencement date is 24 July 2017. 4. In this regard UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest by providing all relevant information including complete company details and experience profile using the attached Vendor Response Form, also available in our website www.unficyp.org. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI. Interested vendors are strongly recommended to submit the required documentation at the United Nations Global Marketplace at www.ungm.org for Level 01 registration. Information on the prerequisites for Level 01 registration can be found at https://www.ungm.org/Public/Pages/RegistrationProcess. 6. The UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. The UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process.
