1.0 The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) has a requirement for Provision of maintenance services for UNAMI GYM Eguipments at UNAMI HQ in D2 and UNGU in Baghdad Green Zone (GZ), and UNAMI Compound in the Forward Support Base (FSB) in Baghdad International Airport (BIAP), Iraq, for initial period of one (1) year with option of extension for additional four (4) years, one year at a time, at UNAMI's discretion 1.1 The contract will be awarded to the bidder that clearly demonstrates through a written bid and references a high degree of experience, ability, competency and best-practice in these services and capability to secure access and execute projects inside the Green Zone and Baghdad International Airport. 1.2 The awarded contractor shall provide materials, labour and equipment in the required works to successfully complete the required project/s as outlined in the scope of works and as further illustrated in the SOW. Supplying services shall include all required manpower, transportation and necessary incidentals to ensure proper executing the serviceas at UNAMI facility located in the Green Zone (GZ) and FSB inside BIAP, Iraq. 2.0 The solicitation will be based on detailed Statement of Works (SOW), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided by UNAMI to all companies who respond to this EOI and qualify for this tender. 3.0 The requirements will include, but not limited to the following: All necessary tools, equipment, materials, personnel, supervision and other items necessary to perform the work. 4.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Invitation to Bid (ITB) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI's requirement. 5.0 In addition, the interested companies (New Vendors Only) are requested to complete their registration at Level 1 on the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). 6.0 Please note on the following: a) This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid/proposal. b) UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for tender document. c) UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline
