New clarification added: Dear Bidder,Thank you for the request for clarification. Since the bids are evaluated based on the information provided through the solicitation documents, It will be good to submit a revised offer especially if there is a change to the financial offer based on the new location.Thank you,Our company has already submitted their detailed bid submission, including UNOPS request for sample detector to be sent to New York etc.We have noted the current batch of clarifications posted 21/04/17 and 24/04/17 of which the prime difference for us to note is the Change of Shipping Adress to MINUSMA HQ Immeuble Magane etc. etc. - otherwise nothing else in our bid submission requires revision.Does UNOPS require us to withdraw our submitted bid and to re-submit the bid to show the change of delivery address???Await UNOPS reply.

New clarification added: Dear Bidder:Thank you for the request. As stated in the original document the delivery requirement for the 15 Detectors to Mali is "no later than 8 weeks after contract signature". There has been no change to the initial timeline.Thank youPlease could you confirm the delivery time to ship the 15 x detectors to Mali? The revised SoR states 4 weeks whereas the previous SoR and the answer to clarification question 5 states a delivery time of 8 weeks.

New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Thank you for the request for clarification. Please see our response below.Question One: We note close of tender deadline is now 21/04/2017.Response One: The deadline has been extended to 28/04/2017Question Two: Sample unit for testing - In the event of an award we would be willing to send sample instrument at UNOPS cost (detector + freight) to New York for their technical team to test?Response Two: Yes, UNOPS will cover the costs of the sample unit Question Three: We are assuming the test unit would remain in New York and not form part of the 15 sets to be supplied to Bamako ?Response Three: Yes, the sample unit shipped to New York will not form part of the 15 units requested to be shipped to Mali.Question Four: Is the sample intended to be 1 of the 15 wire detectors requested in the ITB or will the sample be additional, thereby making a total of 16 wire detectors to be provided by the successful bidder?Response Four: The sample is intended to be an additional unit to the 15 already requested for Mali ( A total of 16).Question Five: Once the sample is approved, will there be a requirement to ship the sample to Bamako? If so, will the contractor be responsible for shipment and will collection be from the same location as delivery? Response Four: No, There is no need to send the sample back to Mali. Question Five: The ITB states that the ‘bidder shall deliver the goods no later than 8 weeks after contract signature’. Will the 8 week timeline apply to delivery of the sample and following the successful testing, will a further 8 week period for delivery of goods into Bamako apply? Response Five: The 8 weeks delivery time is applicable to the 15 units to be shipped to Mali after the PO is issued/signed. The delivery timeline for the sample unit will be communicated to the successful bidder after the award is made.Best regards,UNOPS Procurement Team
