Description

It is anticipated that the International Criminal Court (hereafter referred to as the ICC) located in The Hague, The Netherlands, will shortly be issuing a solicitation for the provision of Cloud Storage Managed Service. In this connection, the ICC is requesting expression of interest from qualified firms.

 

 

Brief Scope of Work of Cloud Storage Managed Service

High level Information

The International Criminal Court is a non-profit organization that has its mandate to provide justice against Genocide and crime against humanity. In carrying out its mandate, the court generate large amount of content that is required to be kept for a long period of time for compliancy therefore the court is looking to subscribe to a cloud service for storage solution.

The cloud storage solution is expected to be included within the landscape of the court’s storage thereby offloading some content to the cloud.

 

Solution high level requirements.

ICC is looking for cloud storage solution that can be integrated within the Enterprise network through possibly VPN thereby offloading directly content through a workflow.

  • Scalability and elasticity: Solution should allow expansion of storage space and reduction of storage space as business required.
  • Storage type: Solution should support Object-base, block-base and file-base storage or support a CIFS/NFS gateway.
  • Geographical location: The Court will only allow a cloud storage solution that placed its content within European Union.
  • Accessibility and Reliability: The Court should be able to access its content over VPN, Internet and or Intranet. And the solution must consistently capable, functionally and operationally useable
  • Integration: The cloud solution should provide a REST and or SOAP interface for integration to other applications or scripting.
  • Application Agnostic and support for chatty applications: The cloud solution should be application agnostic regardless of their type or interface. And solution should be able to support technical applications like (CAD, PLM, and BIM) to be able to work across sites.
  • Management Layer: The solution should provide a management layer whereby ICC staff can administer storage and script processes.
  • Data Protection: The solution must provide complete data protection. And integration possibility with active directory.
  • Backup Storage and retrieval: The solution should be able to provide suitable data recovery facility in case of corruption or data loss.
