Ultra-portable VSAT earth stations

United Nations Department of Field Support is looking to add ultra-portable VSAT earth stations to its catalogue of VSAT services offered to the missions through its teleports at the United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) in Brindisi, Italy and Valencia, Spain operating in C and Ku bands. The intended use of the earth station will be to support quick deployment of essential VSAT services during mission start-up and emergency response. This will be a complete solution/kit and the selected vendor will be responsible to provide all corresponding mechanical and hardware components for the proper performance of all systems. Manufacturers and system integrators are requested to express their interests for participation in the future bidding exercise. Suppliers with adequate experience are requested to express their interests. The intention is to establish a multi year contract with the succesful vendor for the supply of such Ultra-portable VSAT earth stations to existing or new United Nations peacekeeping and political missions.
