Description
The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) has a requirement for the establishment of a Long Term Contract (3+1+1) for the Maintenance of the Centralized Fire Suppression System in the Data Centre building located at the Valencia site of the UNGSC/UNSB-V, Valencia, Spain. The UNSB-V Data Centre is a “Critical Facility”. Its systems work is based on PELCO FX Fire Detection System in combination with Extrallis IFT-1 Aspiration System, Conventional Fire Control Panel CFD4800 and FM 200 Extinguishing Gas system. The Contractor will be required to perform planned verifications, controls and activities, including but not limited to: - Visual & Technical verification, including cleaning of all the components like valves, pipes, nozzles, bottles, etc. and other associated components and their related wiring. - Deactivation of the pressurized bottled gas valves during testing to avoid the risk of gas dispersion during works. - Testing of all smoke detectors, and other related sensors. - Physical revision of the wiring and the connections between several points of the system, either through dedicated copper lines or via LAN network. - Revision of various components such as batteries and power supplies, panic buttons, keypads, sensors, etc. - Revision and control of all visual warning signs, sirens and any operating system and the related accessories, etc. - Revision, control and upgrade (if required) of the systems, keyboards, sensors or other related accessories. - Measurement of gas pressure or gas weight in all bottles, certifying the correct weight and/or pressure as applicable in each of them, recording the measurement as reference for future use. - Reset of all system back to normal operation. - Revision of the two exterior smoke sensors, located on the roof of the building. The Contractor shall also be required to perform extraordinary interventions out of the planned maintenance programme.
