Provision of Mobile Communications Connectivity hardware and Related services (HQ)
The United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP) is the food-aid arm of the United Nations and the world’s largest Humanitarian Agency fighting hunger worldwide. The Organization aims to reach more than 90 million people with food assistance and has a presence in 81 countries, with over 420 remote sites globally, with headquarters in Rome, Italy. Qualified headquarters employees of the Organization are provided with smartphones, smart-devices, internet keys and other mobile telecommunication devices to support operations at headquarters and around the world.
This RFP is seeking non-exclusive mobile telecommunication services including but not limited to IOS and Android (by Samsung) smartphones, tablets, internet modems, mobile voice, and internet data access services for the Organization headquarters in Rome.
The Organization is seeking one provider that can ensure full mobile communications connectivity, including but not limited to smartphone, smart-devices, and mobile voice and internet data access to the Organization’s employees in Rome and headquarters travellers worldwide. It also requires the provider to provide competitive rates for both voice and data traffic and the provision of smart-devices at wholesale prices to the Organization. Finally, it requires the provision of comprehensive support services, including but not limited to the Service Desk support, provision and replacement of phones and devices and submission of billing in electronic format.

Potential suppliers, are requested to ensure that the expression of interest to be accompanied by the filled in questionnaire (attached) which will be used to pre-qualify potential solution providers.
Eligible suppliers who meet all of the pre-qualification criteria may be invited to participate in a competitive tender exercise (RFP).
