1. The UNPD Regional Procurement Office (RPO), on behalf of MONUSCO (United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo) hereby invites qualified Construction companies from all countries to submit their expressions of interests for the provision of Construction of Sally Portal and Main reception Building at United Nations Entebbe Support Base. 2. The construction services to be provided may include but not limited to: (a) Construction of Sally Portal. Sally Portal will cover approximately 600 square meter.It will comprise of small central block masonry facility for initial checking of pedestrians and two portal; framed, roofed and fenced areas for checking in/checking out vehicles and equipped with steel bollards, gates hydraulic cross barrier for vehicles and external toilets for staff. (b) Construction of the main reception. The main reception will cover approximately 480 square meter and will accommodate 6 sets of walk through body and x-ray baggage scannersoffice, meeting room, waiting area for visitors,toilets a changing room and IT server room and UPS equipment area.The building will be reinforced concrete framed structucture with masonry walls. 3. The anticipated duration of the contract is 12 Months maximum and 1 year of defects liability period.
