Description
The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) (hereinafter referred to as “UNSOS” or “the United Nations), seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from duly registered, authorized and competent companies for the Installation of CCTV cameras in Mogadishu, Somalia to include . • CCTV cameras system, i.e. node switches and recording devices . • Trenching works and pole installations • Installation of radio microwave, Nanobeam M5, model Ubiquit and provide connectivity to the CCTV camera, including electrical power source. • Installation of video monitoring and control system software. • Installation of wireless video signal transmitter. • Installation of 52-inch Smart screen LCD CCTV monitor. • Installation of 72-inch Smart Screen LCD CCTV Screen. • Commission the CCTV camera system and recording devices. • Quarterly maintenance and incidental maintenance for period of one year. • Conduct training course to the users and operators UNSOS will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and accordingly intends to issue a solicitation document to those companies which shall express their interest and provide initial relevant information demonstrating their ability to fulfill UNSOS’s requirements. In addition, the interested companies will be requested to complete UNSOS Vendor Registration Form (new vendors only). Detailed specifications and requirements will be provided to companies that will be short listed for receipt of the solicitation documents. The response to the EOI should specify the subject, the relevant information about the company, including the company’s name and registration certificates; complete address including phone, fax numbers and e-mail; name and title of the contact person; information concerning the capacity (i.e. financial strength and resources) and experience of the company; company profile, previous relevant experience in the last three years in contracts for the provision of similar services of similar scope, magnitude and in a similar environment. This Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) does not constitute a solicitation. UNSOS reserves the right to change or cancel these requirements at any time in the REOI and/or solicitation process. UNSOS considers a firm's qualifications and experience in the service area, and previous performance, when preparing a list of invitees. Thus, submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee a firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Due to the high volume of communications, UNSOS is not in a position to issue confirmation of receipt of EOIs. UNSOS reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the deadline below. The expressions of interest may be submitted by mail, email or facsimile or hand delivery in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the inscription "Expression of Interest" [EOI] - EOI should be received not later than 09 March 2016 at 14:00 hours Nairobi time (GMT+3). Companies interested to participate in the tender are requested to submit their EOI by fax or e-mail as indicated above. The EOI must include the following company’s information: • Company’s Name, Profile and background and full audited accounts • Postal address of the company • Phone number, Fax number, E-mail address of contact person • Name of the contact person, Title of the contact person • Company’s registration certificates with minimum of three years of operation. This Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) does not constitute a solicitation. UNSOS reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during EOI and/or solicitation process. Submission of a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that such firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only vendors, deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their submission of EOI, will receive the final tender solicitation document.
