Description of General Requirements: The United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS) has a requirement for the Provision of Custom Bonded Storage and Handling Services of 800 x 20 Feet Corimec Containers in Kampala or Entebbe (Uganda). The Containers will arrive in 5 shipments beginning March 2016 and will be in transit to various parts of South Sudan. Conditions: 1. Interested companies are invited to submit their Expression Of Interest (EOI) by hand delivery or e-mail as indicated below. The EOI must include, as a minimum, the following documentation/information: i. United Nations Global Market (UNGM) Registration Number. (Mandatory – see no. 2 below) ii. Company’s contact details (address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail, etc.); iii. Vendors are advised to upgrade their UNGM registration to a minimum UNGM Level 1 for provision of the required service. Local and Regional Companies are encouraged to apply. 2. If not registered with the UNGM, interested companies can access the registration website: www.ungm.org for registration and other necessary information. The registration for the services required is FREE and MANDATORY for responding to this REOI. Companies not meeting the above conditions will not be invited for competitive bidding.). Important Notice: 3. This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. UNMISS reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the REOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a response to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. UNMISS also reserves the right to send the Solicitation Documents to companies who were identified through additional market research or others means to source the UN requirements. 4.
