Implementation of a sectoral skills analysis of the labour market in Iraq and the KR-I
United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows:
The overall objectives of the Request for Proposal (RFP) are to:
a) Identify and anticipate labour market demands, skills and training needs on priority economic sectors in the central and southern parts of Iraq (LOT 1) and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (LOT 2) that will inform vocational education policy and priorities at secondary and tertiary level.
b) Improve the institutional capacity of TVET stakeholders (relevant line ministries, CSO, KRSO) to conduct regular analysis of the changing needs of the labour market.
Note : Offerors may submit one proposal per any of the two geographical locations (i.e. per lot) or one proposal for the two locations.
The purpose of this notice is to provide general information on the requirements for the procurement process and to inform interested suppliers how to obtain a copy of the Solicitation Documents.
Interested companies who wish to participate in the OIC must request for a complete set of Solicitation Documents, available free of charge, from UNESCO contact person at the address shown below.
The sealed tenders must be delivered to the UNESCO Amman Office in:
Amman (address: 9 Yacoub Ammari St, Abdoun, behind the Syrian Embassy, Amman, Jordan) on or before 27 January 2016 at 15:00 hours, in strict compliance with the instructions as stipulated in the Solicitation Documents.
UNESCO reserves the right to amend the documents at any time during the solicitation process. Any amendments or clarifications will be communicated directly to all Bidders who have requested for a complete set of solicitation documents and officially confirmed their intention to submit a sealed tender. No remuneration will be made to companies for preparation and submission of their tenders.
