Description

WFP Somalia, has its Country Office in Mogadishu and its liaison office in Nairobi and is currently operational in Somaliland, Puntland, Central, Benadir and South regions of Somalia with Area Offices established in Hargeisa, Bossaso, Galkayo, Mogadishu and Dolow. 

WFP is currently implementing Cash Based Transfer in areas of its operation in Somalia. For the Cash Based Transfers, WFP undertakes a comprehensive identification and selection exercise for traders who will be expected to supply 20 predetermined food commodities to beneficiaries across Somalia. In addition WFP undertakes regular retailer monitoring to ensure that retailers are abiding by the deliverables as agreed in the contract with WFP. However, there are some areas which are inaccessible to WFP Staff and therefore WFP Somalia requires organizations who can offer retailer identification and management in such areas.

UNWFP Somalia hereby seeks to pre-qualify reputable companies with reliable experience in the field of Retailer Identification and Management. The contractor will be required to offer the services in all areas where WFP has its operations.
