Provision of Laundry Services and Laundry Equipment Maintenance Services at UNAMI Facilities

1.0 United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit bids for the Provision of Laundry Services and Laundry Equipment Maintennace Services at UNAMI Facilities (D1, D2 and Tamimi) in Baghdad (Green Zone), Iraq, for 3- Year period (1+1+1), in accordance with the specifications, scope of work, general conditions, and other related documents.

1.1 The contract will be awarded to the bidder that clearly demonstrates through a written bid and references a high degree of experience, ability, competency and best-practice in these services and capability to secure access and execute servcies inside Baghdad/ Green Zone.

2.0 The solicitation will be based on a detailed Statement of Works (SOW), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided by UNAMI to all companies who respond to this EOI and qualify for this tender.

3.0 The requirements will include, but not limited to, the following: All necessary tools, equipment, materials, personnel, supervision and other items necessary to perform the services.

4.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. In addition, the interested Companies will be requested to complete a UNGM Registration.

5.0 Please note on the following:

5.1 This EOI is not an invitation to submit a bid/proposal.

5.2 UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities.

5.3 Mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for tender documents.

5.4 UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
