Description
The United Nations Support Office for AMISOM (hereinafter referred to as “UNSOA” or “the United Nations), seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from duly registered, authorized and competent companies for the Supply of Stationery and Office Supplies. The Subject Contract is intended for an initial three one-year period with an option to extend under the same terms and conditions at UNSOA’s sole discretion for an additional two one-year period. Detailed specifications and required quantities will be provided in the tender documents to the shortlisted vendors/companies. UNSOA will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and accordingly intends to issue a solicitation document to those companies which shall express their interest and provide initial relevant information demonstrating their ability to fulfill UNSOA’s requirements. In addition, the interested companies will be requested to complete UNSOA Vendor Registration Form (new vendors only). Detailed Specifications of the required items will be provided to companies that will be short listed for receipt of the solicitation documents. The EOI should specify the subject, the relevant information about the company, including the company’s name and registration certificates; complete address including phone, fax numbers and e-mail; name and title of the contact person and previous experience in similar supplies/product. This Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) does not constitute a solicitation. UNSOA reserves the right to change or cancel these requirements at any time during the REOI and/or solicitation process. UNSOA considers a firm's qualifications and experience in the service area, and previous performance, when preparing a list of invitees. Thus, submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee a firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Due to the high volume of communications, UNSOA is not in a position to issue confirmation of receipt of EOIs. UNSOA reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the deadline below. The expressions of interest may be submitted by mail, email or facsimile or hand delivery in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the inscription "Expression of Interest [EOI] - Supply of Stationery and Office Supplies." EOI should be received not later than Monday, 12 October, 2015 at 16.00 hours Nairobi time (GMT+3).
