DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE. 1. The Contractor shall provide full cafeteria and bar services, including all personnel, food commodities and other resources necessary to perform full catering services on a daily basis. (Monday through Sunday) for MINUSTAH personel located in Les Cayes Region. The food safety and Quality Management of the entire operation should meet Good Agriculture Practices (GAP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and in accordance with the UN Directives and Guidelines. Contract duration: For an initial period of one (1) year with the option to extend for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each at the sole discretion of the UN, subject to satisfactory performance of the contractor. 2. MINUSTAH will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and accordingdly intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information demonstrating their ability to fulfill MINUSTAH requirements. In addition, the interested companies will be requested to register at www.ungm.org. The detailed specifications will be provided to companies short liested for receipt of the RFQ documents. Companies interested in participating in the planned solicitation process should forward their written Expression of Interest (EOI) to MINUSTAH by closing date set forth in this EOI, specifying the commodity of interest. The Expression of interest may be submitted by Email, courier or facsimile clearly marked with the inscription “Expression of Interest” (EOI) – MINUSTAH in Haiti to be received not later than 25 July 2015 at 16:00 PM, Haiti time.
