International Tender for the Implementation of a
Health Sector Integrated Financial Management Information System (HS-IFMIS)
The Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia (FMoH) is planning to undertake the implementation of a Health Sector Integrated Financial Management Information System (HS-IFMIS) that will provide FMoH with the ability to link accounting and financial management activities of the Ministry, with the Planning and Programming activities, to enable the Management at all levels of the health system, in decision making. While the HS-IFMIS is being planned, cognisance is being taken of the planned implementation of the Integrated Financial Management System (IFMIS) by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MoFED), which will provide strong linkages in the accounting of the Federal Government resources to FMOH.
In this context, UNFPA Ethiopia Country Office invites proposals from interested and qualified firms for the above-mentioned professional services. The technical and financial proposals should be submitted in separate sealed envelopes on/or before Friday, January 23, 2009 at 10:00am. Late offers shall be rejected.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the bid policies and procedures of UNFPA and is open to all interested, qualified and eligible bidders.
