~~This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the requirements for supporting service related to Geospatial Exploitation System (GES).  The IAEA is currently implementing an enterprise GIS solution in multiple phases with the goal to support business users (in the use of geographical information and related information to perform analysis and help in the decision making process.
The project has been outsourced to a 3rd party provider for the architecture, design and development of the GES.  The IAEA is seeking a managed services provider  for regular reviews of the quality of the implementation partner services for the GES project and it will be the Contractor’s responsibility to provide systematic recommendations to IAEA to ensure that implementation is:
- based on SOA industry standards and best practices;
- using a structured approach based on international best practices for implementing GIS data and metadata architecture
- designed to be adaptable to different and growing number of business users, including geospatial and non-geospatial experts;
- compliant with Open Geospatial Consortium OGC Standards;
- Ensuring integration with other SG systems, and reporting if the other SG systems follow SOA standards for compatibility of service with the GES;
- compliant with best practices in terms of the security architecture and design
