Construction of concrete structures at UNIFIL HQ Naqoura

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has a mandate to support the implementation of the Security Council Resolution 1701. As part of the Mission’s support programme, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from fully qualified companies wishing to be considered for inclusion in a tender for the following: Construction of concrete structures at UNIFIL HQ Naqoura UNIFIL has a requirement for the construction of concrete structures at UNIFIL HQ, Naqoura and its Area of Operation in South Lebanon. For this requirement, UNIFIL intends to establish a Long Term Agreement (LTA) for one year period with an option to extend the contract for one additional year. The works shall be ordered on an “as and when” required basis and shall comprise but not be limited to the following: - Site Preparation; - Excavation and Backfilling; - Plain concrete; isolated foundations, wall and raft foundations; - Tie beams; - Retaining walls/boundary walls, slabs on ground columns and columns necks; suspended slabs, staircases, concrete manholes, drain channels, lintels, window sills; - Supply of materials and construction of wall partitions and all materials for plastering works. - The required management, administration, workmanship, tools and equipment to complete the works. In this regard, UNIFIL will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and consider inviting those companies that have expressed their interest and provided initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNIFIL’s requirement.
