Description
1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct two competitive solicitation exercises for the following projects: a. Supply and installation of solar street lights within the United Nations Protected Area (UNPA) in Nicosia. The requirement includes, but is not limited to the following: - the provision of all necessary equipment (including lighting, poles, distribution board and cables). - the construction of concrete bases. - the excavation to open and cover trenches for the laying of underground cables. b. Supply and installation of perimeter and street lights at Camp General Stefanik in Famagusta, the requirement includes, but is not limited to the following: - the removal of the existing perimeter lighting and street poles. - the provision of all necessary equipment (perimeter, street, aviation lighting, poles and cables). - tree trimming around the overhead lines. 2. Interested vendors shall have the opportunity to attend the site visits as part of the solicitation exercises. 3. In this regard UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercises. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest in the above requirements (a, b or both) by providing all relevant information including complete company details and experience profile using the attached Vendor Response Form, also available in our website www.unficyp.org. The UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. The UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process.
