Please find below the clarification on your question.Regarding items 1.5 and 1.6 – Charger:The term “charger” refers to the means of charging the defibrillator’s internal battery and may vary depending on the design and integration of the offered device.Accordingly, this requirement shall be understood as:Either an integrated charging system (built into the device, using a power cable for connection to mains power),Or an external charging unit/docking station, where applicable. Both solutions are acceptable, provided they ensure safe and reliable charging of the defibrillator battery in accordance with the manufacturer’s design.Thank you.Procurement team.

New clarification added: Dear Representatives of UNOPS,We kindly ask you to provide clarification regarding the following question.Lot 1 We kindly ask you to amend parameter 1.4 Operating Frequency: RF range typical for electrosurgical units in range 300–2000 kHz to Operating Frequency: RF range typical for electrosurgical units in range 333~727 kHz. The specified range of 333–727 kHz is generally accepted for electrosurgical units and ensures their proper and safe operation. Reducing the operating frequency range within these limits does not affect the functional capabilities, effectiveness, or clinical use of the electrosurgical unit. Thus, the proposed clarification will not lead to any deterioration in the technical or operational characteristics of the equipment, while helping to avoid unjustified restriction of the range of potential bidders. Lot 3 We kindly ask you to change the parameter 1.2.2 - Display diagonal: 7 inches to Display diagonal: not less 7 inches . The need for this change is due to the fact that the current wording may be interpreted as a requirement for a strictly fixed display diagonal value, which may limit the possibility of submitting offers for equipment with a larger display diagonal, even if such equipment fully meets the functional purpose and the Purchaser’s needs. The wording “not less 7 inches” will help avoid any ambiguous interpretation of the requirement and will not lead to any deterioration in the characteristics of the procurement item. Lot 4 We kindly request clarification regarding requirement 1.1.2.6 – Head section width. As a similar requirement is already defined under 1.1.2.1 – Head section, it is unclear what additional specification is intended. Could you please clarify the purpose of this parameter? We would like to request reconsideration of requirement 1.1.2.11 – Minimum tabletop height: 550 mm ±10 mm. The specified value may unnecessarily limit participation of manufacturers whose equipment meets current clinical standards but is designed with a minimum height of 595 mm.Expanding this parameter would support broader competition, ensure equal treatment of suppliers, and still fully meet clinical and functional requirements. We kindly ask whether the acceptable range could be adjusted to include 595 mm./Dear Bidder,Thank you for your interest in the tender. Please find the clarifications on your questions.Lot 1The request to amend parameter 1.4 Operating Frequency has been reviewed. Requirement is changed for -Operating Frequency:RF range typical for electrosurgical units within 333–727 kHz or wider.Lot 3The request to revise parameter 1.2.2 Display diagonal has been reviewed. The intention of the requirement is to define the minimum acceptable display size and not to limit larger displays. The requirement is revised as follows:“Display diagonal: not less than 7 inches.” LOT4 Regarding requirement 1.1.2.6 – Head section width:The requirement is intended to ensure dimensional consistency of the head section as part of the overall tabletop configuration. It should be read in conjunction with requirement 1.1.2.7, which specifies that the head section must be of the same width as the other sections, ensuring uniform patient support and compatibility with accessories. No additional or separate specification beyond this functional requirement is intended.Regarding requirement 1.1.2.11 – Minimum tabletop height:The requirement for a minimum tabletop height of 550 mm ±10 mm is defined to ensure compatibility with clinical workflows, including patient transfer, ergonomics for surgical staff, and use with imaging systems. However, in the interest of promoting fair competition and broader participation, the requirement will be revised to:“Minimum tabletop height: not more than 600 mm”This adjustment maintains clinical suitability while allowing participation of equipment with a minimum height of 595 mm, as proposed.
