Provision of 50Ton Crane Services in Abyei,Sudan

1. The United Nations Interim Security Force in Abyei (UNISFA) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from interested and qualified companies wishing to be considered for inclusion in the solicitation to be launched shortly for the Provision a 50 Ton Crane Services to UNISFA ( Abyei,Sudan). INTRODUCTION: 2.1 UNISFA is expecting numurous of shipments at the end of rainy season (1st November 2014 to 1st December 2014). Therefore a commercial crane of 50T Capacity together with crew comprised of 1x operator 2x riggers and 1x technician to be provisioned for the requirement during the period 1st November 2014 -1st December 2014. SCOPE OF WORK: 2.2 The Crane Contractor is required to : 2.2.1 To offload and stack containers at UNISFA HQ in Abyei; 2.2.2 To relocate and reorgnize 40 and 20foot containers in the Abyei Camp; 2.2.3 The crane crew must be comprised of 1x crane operator, 2x riggers and 1x technician; 2.3 Contractor is responsibe to provide to its personnel at its own costs: accommodation, feeding, medical care and transportation to/from Abyei. 3. UNISFA MovCon Section will inspect the 50 Ton Crane to ascertain its sutability for the task prior contract is awarded. 4. Contractor should be able to be in Abyei by 1 November 2014.
