Description
The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from duly registered companies for the PROVISION OF CROSS BORDER INSURANCE COVER (COMESA) FOR SELECTED MONUSCO VEHICLES in the DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO. The following will be the requirement: a) Proven professional experience in provision of the cross-border insurance services for at least three years along with the supporting documents: i) Company Structure, and Management resources (Certificate of Incorporation, Company's profile). ii) Letters of reference or Purchase Orders along with their valid contracts for the relative current/previous projects successfully executed in the last five (5) years. iii) Copy of valid Insurance License or proof of authorized representation of a licensed insurer. IV) Official proof of membership in the National Bureau of the COMESA Yellow Card Scheme in their respective countries of registration. b) Level 1 registartion in UNGM. Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of bid. MONUSCO reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities. Submission of an EOI would not automatically warrant receipt of the documents; MONUSCO reserves the right to reject EOI’s received after the deadline indicated below. Specific Requirements/Information The bidder shall be required to attend a Mandatory site visit which will be scheduled during the bidding time, and the date communicated to all bidders by Procurement Section (PS).
