Description
Dear Bidder,
The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.
Below is a summary of the work to be performed:
[he International Labour Organization (ILO), under the PROSPECTS programme in Lebanon, seeks to engage an individual consultant to conduct an assessment of priority sectors with potential for MSME growth and job creation. The assignment will identify and prioritise sectors and sub-sectors with strong employment and enterprise development potential, with a particular focus on early-stage businesses and inclusive economic opportunities for women, youth, and Syrian refugees.
The assessment will include sector prioritisation and geographic analysis across North Lebanon, Beqaa, and Greater Beirut; demand and supply analysis; value chain and market dynamics assessment; and an evaluation of employment generation and inclusion potential, including relevant legal and regulatory considerations. The consultant will develop a clear sector prioritisation methodology aligned with Lebanon’s economic context and PROSPECTS objectives and produce actionable recommendations to inform future PROSPECTS enterprise interventions, partnerships, and implementation pathways.]
