The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) is seeking for potential vendors to express interest for its requirement for the Provision of Refurbishment and Implementation of Energey Saving in Offices and Relocation of Transit Accommodatiojn Services at the UNAMA, UNOCA Compound, in Kabul, Afghanistan. UNAMA intends to establish a contract for the Refurbishment and implementation of Energy saving measures, Installation of EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finishing System) on external walls, replacement of windows and doors with double Glazed Aluminum and roof insulation with Glass wool and timber for office Buildings and relocation of 12 units Containerized Transit accommodations at UNOCA Compound. Please note that this notice is issued only to allow companies to express their interest; it does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee that a company will be considered for receipt of the tender. UNAMA reserves the right to change or cancel its requirement at any time. Details for the requirement will be provided in the solicitation documents to the invited vendors only. Specific Requirements/Information Minimum Eligibility Requirements: i. Bidders minimum experience in building Construction field: 6 years, Contractors to provide supporting documents e.g. Client’s reference letters, contract documents and any other expereince related documents. ii. Successful Completion of at least 2 SIMILAR building construction/ expansion/ refurbishment projects of minimum value US$400,000 each, Contractors to provide supporting documents e.g. Client’s reference letters and contract documents. iii. United Nations Global Market Place (UNGM) Registration is Mandatory. Company should be registered in UNGM, level 2 registration is preferred. If not registered, you can register using the link ttps://www.ungm.org.Please provide proof of UNGM registration and level. Provide UNGM number as evidence of UNGM registration. EOI responses that are not accompanied by undisputable evidence in form of supporting documents as requeted above will not be considered for invitation to participate in the bidding exercise.
