Description
ESCAP seeks expressions of interest from qualified manufacturers for the supply and door to door delivery of a new full electric vehicle (SUV), including comprehensive logistic support services (spare parts, warranty, training, and related services) and installation of a flagpole. The vendor will be expected to provide after sales support throughout the estimated five year lifecycle of the vehicle. Refurbished vehicles will not be considered. Detailed technical specifications, quantities, and support requirements will be provided in the subsequent solicitation document. Likely criteria for vendors: Vendors must meet the following minimum requirements: • Legally registered entity engaged in motor vehicle manufacturing or distribution. • At least three (3) years of relevant experience in supplying electric vehicles. • Demonstrated technical capacity to supply a new Full EV SUV and provide after sales support. • Proof of manufacturer authorization or official distributor status. • Ability to provide maintenance and after sales services within Thailand. • Adequate financial capacity to support long term service commitments. This Request for Expression of Interest does not constitute a solicitation, it does not entail any commitment on the part of ESCAP, either financial or otherwise. ESCAP reserve the right to accept or reject any or all EOI without incurring any obligation to inform the affected applicant/s of the grounds. ESCAP reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or subsequent solicitation process. ESCAP also reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing the final solicitation documents. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee receipt of the solicitation documents when issued. Invitations to bid or requests for proposals and any subsequent purchase order or contract will be issued in accordance with the rules and procedures of ESCAP. Specific Requirements/Information Brief explanation of each of the terms is as follows: a. Vehicle Engine – Full Electric Vehicle (EV) For the purpose of this EOI, a Full Electric Vehicle (EV) refers to a vehicle powered exclusively by electricity. It contains a rechargeable battery in place of a fuel tank and uses an electric motor instead of an internal combustion engine. b. Vehicle Type – Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) An SUV, as defined by ESCAP, is a medium sized vehicle combining features of a passenger car and an off road vehicle. It typically offers higher ground clearance, optional four wheel drive capability, a spacious interior, and adaptable cargo capacity.
