Description
1 The UNPD Global Procurement Support Section, Entebbe (PD/GPSS), hereby invites qualified bidders to submit their Expression of Interest for the Supply and Delivery of Electrical Materials to UN Field Missions. 2. The UNPD/GPSS seeks to establish a regional contract for the Supply and Delivery of Electrical Materials on "when and as required basis" to various UN Misssions and Entities Globally. In general, the Delivery Terms are DAP, UN-ESB, Entebbe (INCOTERMS 2010), FCA (Vendor Port of Exist) INCOTERMS 2020, however, there may be a need for the vendors to deliver directly to client entities. 3. The scope of this requirements include the supply and delivery of electrical items including: Electrical Distribution Panels, Circuit Breakers, Contactors, Switches and Fuses, Cable Conduits, Trunking and Cable Trays, Electrical Control Systems and Accessories, Lights and Lighting Accessories, Miscelleneous Items and tools to designated areas suitable for use in field missions under rough operational conditions, extreme climatic conditions and limited maintenance facilities. Specific Requirements/Information Companies interested in providing the above goods are invited to submit their EOI, along with the following documents: 4.1. Company’s address, contact person, telephone/fax numbers and e-mail; 4.2. Company’s registration number (if already registered with UN) and UNGM registration number (www.ungm.org). 5. Companies can only participate in solicitations of the UN Secretariat after completing their registration (free of charge) at the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). Companies must be registered in UNGM under the specified UN Standard Products and Services Code [UNSPSC No. 39120000 - Electrical equipment and components and supplies] in order to participate in the solicitation for this requirement. 6. As you express interest in the planned solicitation by submitting the response form, please verify and ensure that your company is registered under its full legal name with the UN Secretariat on the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). In addition, to participate in the upcoming solicitation, vendor registration at appropriate Level with the UN Secretariat in the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) is a mandatory requirement. Vendors that are not registered with the UN Secretariat in UNGM cannot be included in the solicitation process. Vendors are referred to the registration information stated below in this EOI 7. Note that companies that have previously responded to EOI # EOIGPSS20743 for similar requirement are requested to express their interest again and re-submit full documentation as detailed above. 8. Please note, this is not an invitation for submission of proposals or bid. Its purpose is to identify companies that would be interested to participate in the solicitation when issued. 9. GPSS will examine the outcome of this request for EOI and will consider those companies that have expressed their interest by providing the required information as to their ability to fulfill UN’s requirement. 10. Interested vendors must possess the necessary technical expertise and capacity to provide the required services. Vendors expressing interest must be registered with UNGM so that they can participate in the solicitation exercise at a later stage. 13. EOI's not addressing the above criteria to the satisfaction of UNPD/GPSS shall not be considered for the solicitation to bid, if and when issued. UNPD/GPSS reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the solicitation and merely expressing an interest would not automatically warrant the receipt of a solicitation document.
