Interested parties are encouraged to submit their interest via the UNGM platform only. Reference: Off-site Data Tape Storage facility. The United Natuions Office at Vienna on behalf of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) located at the Vienna International Centre (VIC) requires services for the storage of its business backup data and associated media tape cartridges from a qualified supplier. The Physical Tape Cartridges (LTO Ultrium Tape Cartridges) originating from UN backup operations are to be stored, managed and preserved. The storage location shall be within a distance range of 20 to 50 kilometers from the Vienna International Centre (VIC), in 1220 Vienna Austria and/or within a driving distance of at most one (1) hour from the VIC. Qualification of requirements. -The storage facility is expected to comply with international standards including the storage of the digital records in an environment with temperatures between 5 and 23 degrees Celsius and maintain relative humidity levels between 50% and 10% 365 days per year. - Availability of a very high level of security. - The tape cartridges shall be retrievable. - Provision and maintenance of a computerized inventory system of the barcodes on all tape cartridges and boxes. - Availability to provide transportation materials and storage containers (i. e. LTO turtle boxes) upon request. - Availability and provision of all necessary labour and equipment required to execute the requested services. - All tape cartridges, will be containing unique barcodes. - Technical availability for the association of barcodes that are currently on the digital media tapes with any new barcodes that are appended. - Capability and availbility to supply the UN with information, allowing to have a one-to-one relationship (cross reference) between the barcodes, which currently identify the media in the UN system, with the barcodes that will identify those in the Off site storage of the tape cartridges. Additional details and information will be communicated in the tender documents. Expressions of Interest shall be submitted exclusively through the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM).
