Supply and Delivery of Solid Waste Management Equipment in Batroun, Saida, Kesserwan El Ftouh and Jbeil Cities in Lebanon.

United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Lebanon, seeks the interest of qualified vendors and Service Providers to participate in an upcoming tender solicitation for the Supply and Delivery of Solid Waste Management Equipment in Batroun, Saida, Kesserwan El Ftouh and Jbeil Cities in Lebanon. The project is aimed to enable the Unions to clean the beaches and urban neighbourhoods and enhance their solid waste management capacities. The scope of works shall include but not limited to: •Supply and delivery of solid waste management equipment as follows; -Approx one (1) Industrial Street Sweeper and one (1) Skid Steer Loader in Batroun City, Lebanon -Approx. one (1) Industrial Street Sweeper and one (1) Tractor-Towed Beach Cleaning Machine in Saida City Lebanon -Approx one (1) Waste Baler of approx. 30 Tons in Kesserwan El Ftouh City, Lebanon -Approx. one (1) Waste Baler of approx. 30 Tons in Jbeil City, Lebanon •The specifications for the above equipment shall include but not limited to; -Industrial Street Sweeper – Approx. minimum 20 HP engine power and debris hopper capacity of minimum 500 liters -Skid Steer Loader – Approx minimum tipping load of 1200 kg and rated operating capacity of minimum 600 kg. -Tractor-Towed Beach Cleaning Machine - Approx hopper capacity above 300 litres -Waste Baler – Approx minimum 30 tons hydraulic power .Packaging and labelling - To ensure protection against deterioration and physical damage during delivery, transit and storage, etc. •Warranty and customs clearance – Equipment Warranty including insurance of the shipment (if any), the supply and delivery of goods to intended location, storage etc. •Training and after-sales services to designated staff. Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. The complete detail of the requirement will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Submitting a reply to this REOI does not therefore automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for issuance of the solicitation documents. Only vendors who, in the UN's sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the EOI submissions, may receive the final tender solicitation documents. UNON invites companies to express their interest by filling out the vendor response form in UNGM.
