New clarification added: Dear bidders, Kindly find the below clarifications and UNOPS responses:Q1: Please advise whether it is possible for a Manufacturer to participate directly, or if it is mandatory for the bidder to be a company registered in Jordan. In case the manufacturer participates directly, is it required to have a local agent in Jordan?UNOPS response: It is permissible for a Manufacturer to participate directly in the tender. However, any Manufacturer or company not registered in Jordan and wishing to participate must have a local representative in Jordan. Q2: Kindly confirm whether the project is exempt from customs duties, customs clearance fees, and sales tax.UNOPS response: ConfirmedQ3: Please advise whether any site preparation or pre-installation works are required to be carried out by the bidder. If so, could you please define the scope of such works? If it is not possible to determine this scope at this stage, kindly advise whether these costs should be included in the Bid price or priced separately.UNOPS response: Any works required in accordance with the supplier’s or equipment manufacturer’s data sheets shall be carried out by the supplier. This is without prejudice to the standard provisions, whereby all electrical and mechanical first and second fix works will be executed on site by others. It is recommended that the supplier includes any required preparatory works as provisional items, and that such works are not incorporated into the lump-sum financial offer.Best regards

New clarification added: Dear bidders,Kindly find the below clarifications and UNOPS responses: 1- For item no 1 Sterilizer, double door, 10 SSU please amend the specification to be 8 or 12 STU instead of 10 SSU due to the common baskets sizes used in military hospitals since more that 10 years as well as MOH hospitals .UNOPS response: The minimum capacity can be changed to 8 STU baskets .2- Please extend the closing date to additional 20 days from closing date due to Arab health exhibition and most of main suppliers attend this exhibition .UNOPS response: We regret to inform you that the request for further extension is not possible.Best regards

New clarification added: Dear bidders,Kindly find the clarification below and UNOPS response:Q: We kindly request clarification regarding the eligibility criteria stated in the RFI for CSSD equipment, which currently refers to equipment of USA origin or USA brands.While we understand the intent to ensure quality and reliable post-purchase support, we respectfully request that the RFI be opened to all capable and qualified CSSD equipment manufacturers worldwide, regardless of country of origin, provided they meet the required technical specifications, delivery timelines, budget, and after-sales service requirements.Limiting participation to USA-origin manufacturers may restrict competition and exclude other internationally recognized suppliers with proven experience and compliance with global standards. Allowing global participation would support a broader and more competitive market assessment.We appreciate your consideration and look forward to your clarification.UNOPS response: Please note that the RFI was primarily issued to collect information and quotations from suppliers providing US-origin goods. However, as stated in the RFI, it is permissible to provide information on both US and non-US origin equipmentBest regards

New clarification added: Dear bidders,Kindly find the below clarifications and UNOPS responses:1- For steam sterilizer: kindly amend capacity from 10 basket to 8 or 12 basket.UNOPS response: The minimum capacity needed is 10 SSU,and the bidder can give an estimated price of 12 baskets. 2- is it acceptable to bid for equipment only or furniture only? we prefer to seperate them and not to be evaluated on complete lot basis. ( prefered to be evaluated per each item). UNOPS response: Yes, Acceptable 3- Amend specification of item 3: "to work on both electric heating boiler and central steam" to be replaced with " electric heating" only, since this specifications is related to sterilizer not washerUNOPS response: Yes,can be amended to " to work on electric heating" 4- amend specification of item 3: " instrument cycle should not exceed 45 min including drying phase" to be replaced with 55 min.UNOPS response: No, keep it 45 min,but the bidder can give an estimated price for washer with 55 min cycle time. 5- Kindly confirm whether we are allowed to submit offers for specific items, or if a comprehensive offer covering all items (one lot) is required.UNOPS response: Yes,allowed.lot is not required .
