New clarification added: Vendor's clarification request We are is currently preparing a bid for the tender titled Construction of Electromechanical works including Solar PV Carport, Main Power System, Water Tank Maintenance, Water Source System, Fire Fighting Pump, VIP Coffee Bar, Sanitary Work for MoA under RFB No. RFQ/2026/60922.However, we have encountered a challenge due to the upcoming Christmas and New Year holiday season, during which the manufacturers who will supply us with the required technical documents and pricing information will not be available in their offices. As a result, the time allocated for us to compile and submit the necessary documents is insufficient.Considering this circumstance and the duration of the holiday period, we respectfully request that the submission deadline for RFB No.: RFQ/2026/60922 be extended. This extension will enable us to provide a complete, accurate, and fully compliant bid package in line with the Authority’s requirements.We kindly ask for your understanding and favorable consideration of this request.UNOPS Response: Please note that the bid submission deadline has been extended to 2026-01-16, 09:00 UTC . Kindly note that since this is an urgent procurement, it will not be extended beyond this time. We strongly advise bidders to prepare and submit their bid before the deadline.

New amendment added #1: This amendment is done for the following reasons: 1. On the BoQ - Bill no. 5 , for item no. 4.1. The description has been amended as per the below description: 4. Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of factory-tested electric submersible pump sets (Grundfos or equivalent in size and quality), rated at 55 kW with a duty point of 20 lps @ 170 meters head, installed within 10" borehole casing and positioned at 168 meters depth. The system shall include: a 55 kW VFD pump controller for pump control, soft start, protection, and local control panel; submersible drop cable—4-core armored, compatible size, 180 m length; borehole water level and motor temperature sensors (1 set); cable laying, termination, and trenching to the control room (50 m); and tank level sensors connected to the control board for automatic pump ON/OFF at minimum/maximum levels respectively.On the BoQ - Bill no. 5 , for item no. 4.2. The description has been amended as per the below description . 4.2. Supply and install heavy-Duty Galvanized Steel Riser Pipe 3" (incl. couplings & threaded joints), 169 m. The unit price shall include Borehole Well-head Assembly (well cap, cable gland, lifting clamp, sealing). 2. on the BoQ - Bill no. 5 , item no. 4.2 , the quantity previously stated as 161 is now amended to be 169 . Please note the above amendments are shown on the amended BoQ in green highlight. New clarification added: Vendor's clarification request: Our Company is GWWC Licence and have experiance on Solar, water and Sanitary work so Can we participate on the tender that you post.UNOPS response: Dear Vendor , with regard to your request, please note that the evaluation criteria clearly states the following: The bidder has the registration under the category/grade from Grade one (1) to Grade three (3) Electromechanical and related contractor in the body that governs and regulates the construction industry in the Country. In case of a joint venture, each joint venture member must meet the criteria .The bidder has experience successfully delivering similar [two (2)] integrated solar power, main electrical, and sanitary works with the total contract amount of 15 Million for each, or one ( 1) similar construction works contract with the amount of 30 Million value within the last [three (3)] years prior to bid opening. N:B. Similar experience means similarity in the nature of the works and the bidder’s involvement as a prime contractor In case of a joint venture ,all joint venture members combined must meet it.
