Description
The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC), with its Headquarters located in Brindisi, Italy, seeks a highly qualified and experienced company for the provision of technical services and spare parts for Forklift Trucks (multibrand) on an "as and when required" basis, in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's specifications and standards, at the UNGSC in Brindisi, Italy. The services include, but are not limited to, the following activities: I. The provision/supply of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Forklift Trucks spare parts and related accessories. II. The provision of Technical Services-Labour to conduct Inspections, Fault Diagnosis, and Electrical/Hydraulic/Mechanical Repairs in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturers' standards and specifications. The Contractor shall ensure the availability of diagnostic devices to carry out all required checks and technical assessments effectively. The multibrand Forklift Truck fleet is configured with various types, light to heavy, and with two kinds of power systems-Diesel and Electrical, as summarised below: I. Lugli 20R. Electric Forklift Qty 1 II. OM Pimespo Thesi B2. Electric Forklift Qty 5 III. Toyota 7FD30. 3-ton Diesel Counterbalance Forklift Qty 1 IV. Kalmar DCE 150-12. 15-ton Forklift Qty 1 V. Fantuzzi/Terex FDC 150. 15-ton Forklift Qty 2 VI. Terex FDC300. 30-ton Forklift Qty 1 VII. Kalmar RT 250. 25-ton Rough Terrain Container Handler Qty 1 VIII. GS Skyjack. Battery-operated Access Platform Qty 2 IX. Bolzoni. Battery-operated Access Platform Qty 1 X. Pramac QX20P. Pallet Truck Qty 5 The Contractor shall perform the maintenance and technical services at the UNGSC's premises/workshops in Brindisi (Italy). Contract duration: it is anticipated that the contract duration will be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to be extended for two (2) periods of one (1) year each, subject to the satisfactory performance of the Contractor. The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage. Interested vendors must possess the necessary technical expertise and capacity to provide the required services, as only suitably qualified vendors will be invited to participate in the solicitation process, which will commence upon finalisation of this REOI exercise. The UNGSC Procurement considers a firm's qualifications and experience in the particular commodity/service area, as well as its previous performance, when preparing a list of invitees. Therefore, in case of EOIs concerning equipment or supplies, for responding vendors who are not manufacturers, full details of the Vendor's status, as a factory-appointed wholesaler or distributor, must be provided. Specific Requirements/Information Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify eligible vendors who would be interested in participating in the upcoming related tender. The UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel this REOI at any time. Submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation documents when they are issued. Only Vendors who, in the UN's sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified may receive the final tender solicitation documents. Vendors submitting an Expression of Interest must be registered with UNGM at a minimum, i.e. the Basic Level. Vendors who are not registered in UNGM will not be eligible to participate in the subsequent solicitation stage. Details of the technical evaluation criteria and other specific requirements will be shared with vendors invited to the solicitation. Vendors with any of the following attributes are strongly encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest: (a) Disability inclusive organisations, (b) Demonstrated commitment to achieving gender equality (c) Recognised status as a woman-owned busines (d) Vendors from developing countries, countries with economies in transition or least developed countries.
