Description
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for the supply and delivery of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) for underwater activities with accessories and spare parts for UNODC's vessel's hull inspection training events in Tanzania. The project’s primary objectives of this requirement are: • Supply and Delivery of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) Drone - Revolutionary industrial AI underwater robot, engineered for high-precision measurements, inspections, and surveys in complex marine environments. With advanced sensors and sonars, it ensures unmatched accuracy and reliability. Its modular design allows for quick and efficient component changes, including accessory swaps and power replacements. The ROV's are to be used for: • Underwater Construction & Inspection • Shipping & Maritime • Tank & Pipeline Inspections • Offshore Energy Professions • Surveyors & Inspectors • Engineers & Technicians • Environmental Scientists • Marine Researchers The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. Specific Requirements/Information Pre-qualification of Vendors This pre-qualification is intended to assess vendors against pre-determined criteria listed below. Only those vendors which in the opinion of the United Nations demonstrably meet the criteria will be shortlisted to participate in the upcoming tendering exercise following the finalization of the pre-qualification process. The UN will judiciously apply these criteria to prequalify adequate number of vendors with a goal to maximize competition and serve the interest of the United Nations. 1. Vendors shall provide valid company documents showing certificate of incoporation/ registration or the equivalent. Documents required from Vendors: Copies of certificates (in English or translated into English) and other relevant documents. 2. The Vendor must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in supply and delivery of these or similar specialized goods with satisfactory performance record. 3. The Vendor must provide detailed fact sheets and warranty.
