This tender is for the Supply and delivery of Supply and Delivery of Educational Items to UNOPS, Myanmar.
The ITB is divided into 4 lots as stated below;

New clarification added: Question:1. According to the specification, the required products are not available in single brand, So can we supply the combination of different brands & different designs with the same or better specification of request products?2. In the lot I: Exercise Book, we have to make the special custom order to meet the require specification (especially the cover- Hard cover, matte finish). Although, our products are comply with the require spec, but to submit sample product we are not ready to proceed it, because of we have to order mass quantity for the custom order, we can not order one or two units. So, can we submit the nearest same product, only deviation of cover for sample product?Answer:1. Bidders are herewith requested to offer a single brand under each lots, multiple brands under a specific lot can not be accepted.2. Yes, it is fine. Bidders can submit a sample product without a cover as requested in the tender specifications.

New clarification added: Question:Delivery time – 100% quantity within 45 days after issuance of the Purchase Order” means that the full quantity must be delivered and received at the Customer’s site within 45 days from the date of PO issuance (or) Providing a Bill of Lading (BL) or Air Waybill (AWB) dated within 45 days is acceptable only if the Purchase Order explicitly defines delivery as the shipment date.Answer:It means the full quantity must be delivered and received at the Customer’s site within 45 days from the date of PO issuance.

New clarification added: Question:Material Specification:The technical specification states that the lunch box material shall be Food-grade 304 stainless steel.Kindly clarify whether this requirement applies to:The entire lunch box (inner compartments and outer body), orOnly the inner compartments, with a different material permitted for the outer casing and lid.Sample Image / Photo Reference:We also request you to kindly provide a sample image or photo reference of the expected lunch box design for Lot 3, for better understanding and to ensure full compliance with UNOPS requirements.Answer:It is ok, Only the inner compartment with stainless steel or food grade metal is required. Outerlayer can be with different material .We are not having any images for this requirements at the moment.

Any bidders who is based in Myanmar and having a valid business registration in Myanmar are elibible to submit an offer against this specific tender. An international bidder can submit an offer provided a JV partner meets the above criteria.2) Yes, if the offer is in USD, UNOPS will convert the offered amount into MMK using the UN currency exchange rate applicable on the bid submission due date for evaluation purposes.

Kindly confirm the required GSM (grammage) of the hard cover.Number of Pages:The requirement specifies 80 pages. Please confirm whether this refers to:80 printed pages (40 sheets), or 80 sheets (160 printed pages).Number of Sheets:Based on the above clarification, kindly confirm the exact number of sheets required per exercise book.Binding Type:The specification states “Binding: Stapled”. Any bidders who is based in Myanmar and having a valid business registration in Myanmar are elibible to submit an offer against this specific tender. An international bidder can submit an offer provided a JV partner meets the above criteria. Regarding the currency, if the offer is in USD, UNOPS will convert the offered amount in MMK by using the UN Currency exchange rate applicable for the day of due date for submission for the bid evalaution .
