Description
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for the Supply and Installation Services for Solar PV power (Roof - mounting) for LAC ASSAL emergency shelter for migrants, under the program of transnational organized crime. The installation of this solar PV plant aims to establish a 11.25 kWp solar power generation system at the station. The primary objective of this project is to provide a sustainable and reliable power solution for the Lac Assal Emergency Shelter through the supply and installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Project scope and Expected outcomes: • Procuring and supplying all necessary equipment, including solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting structures, and associated accessories. • To ensure quality products are delivered • Installation of solar PV systems and standalone solar flood lights in strategic locations within the station. • Testing and commissioning of the installed solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality. • Providing training to staff on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the solar PV backup systems. • Submission of comprehensive documentation, including entire plant manuals, inverters, batteries, warranty information, and as-built drawings. All shall be in the English/ French language. The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. Specific Requirements/Information IMPORTANT: Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify companies that would be interested and eligible to participate in the solicitation when issued. UNODC will examine the outcome of this request for EOI and will consider those companies that have expressed their interest. UNODC reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this Request for EOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued.
