Provision of High-Energy Biscuit (Emergency Ration)

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) is seeking for potential vendors for the Provision of High-Energy Biscuit (Emergency Ration) for use as part of UNAMA’s emergency MRE food rations, providing long-lasting, ready-to-eat, and energy-dense nutrition during field or emergency situations The requirements will include, compressed high-energy biscuit/bar suitable for use in emergency food rations, individually wrapped, sealed in resealable, waterproof, and dirt-proof packaging. Please note that this notice is issued only to allow companies to express their interest; it does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee that a company will be considered for receipt of the tender. UNAMA reserves the right to change or cancel its requirement at any time. Details for the requirement will be provided in the solicitation documents to the invited vendors only. Specific Requirements/Information 1. Registration with United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM), www.ungm.org minimum at Basic Level. 2. Related experience in provision of high energy biscuite/bar (Emergency Rations) or similar items Non-compliance to above mentioned criteria, sepcifically cirterial no.1 will result in disqualification of the vendor from bidding bidding process Closing date for receipt of EOI response is 07 December 2025.Note: UNAMA Procurement Unit encourages vendors /organizations of persons with disabilities to express interest in this requirement.
