INVITATION TO BID FOR LARGE WORKS – ITB

The purpose of this notice is to provide general information on the requirements for the procurement process and to inform interested suppliers how to obtain a copy of the Solicitation Documents.
Interested companies who wish to participate in the OIC must request a complete set of Solicitation Documents, available free of charge, from UNESCO contact person at the address shown below.
The bidder that has downloaded the Solicitation Documents shall be invited to participate in the online pre-bid conference to take place on 15/12/2025 10:00 am (Brasilia Time) via Microsoft Teams.
Bidders expressing interest in accessing the projects and drawings must submit the duly completed and signed Declaration of Confidentiality of Engineering and Architectural Projects through the UNESCO Procurement Platform. The deadline for submitting this declaration is from the date of publication until January 16, 2026.
Bidders expressing interest must request a mandatory technical visit through the UNESCO Procurement Platform. The company must submit the visit request at least 48 hours in advance. Therefore, the last possible date for the request is January 5, 2026. The mandatory technical visits will take place on January 7, 2026, at a time to be determined by UNESCO.
The sealed tenders must be delivered to the UNESCO Brazil Procurement Portal on or before 29/01/2026 at 17:00 hours (Brasilia Time), in strict compliance with the instructions as stipulated in the Solicitation Documents.
UNESCO reserves the right to amend the documents at any time during the solicitation process. Any amendments or clarifications will be communicated directly to all Bidders who have requested for a complete set of solicitation documents and officially confirmed their intention to submit a sealed tender. No remuneration will be made to companies for preparation and submission of their tenders.
