The United Nations Procurement Division (UNPD) is seeking information on the current market situation in regards to the Supply and Delivery of Light Trucks, Spare Parts and Ancillary Services. The purpose of this Request for Inforamtion (RFI) is to gather information from potential vendors for this requirement. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes and it is separate and independent document from the solicitation and shall not be considered as part of the solicitation. The UN requests that recipients review of the RFI document in its entirety and for you to provide a response no later than 2 January 2026. Please respond electronically by emailing your response to Ms. Minako Mochizuki (mochizuki@un.org) with copy to pd-vehiclesteam@un.org.   Specific Requirements/Information All costs for preparing a response for the RFI shall be covered by the Vendor. 1. USE OF INFORMATION This RFI is not intended to solicit proposals from prospective vendors, but to gather information that would help the UN to understand the current market situation. Submitted information will be used by the UN for internal planning purposes and shall be kept strictly confidential. Provided information will not be: a. Used to pre-qualify vendors, but may be a basis to invite respondents to participate in the solicitation, once issued. b. Contractually binding to the Vendor or to the UN. 2.The UN requests that suppliers provide as much information as they can to the questions in Section 3 below. It is not mandatory to answer all questions in Section 3, however it is preferred. Subsequent to this RFI and the submissions received, the UN may seek clarifications to the information provided by your organization. In your response, kindly advise an appropriate contact (i.e. name, email address and telephone number) to whom the UN may request such clarifications. 3. RFI Questions: Please provide the following information: 3.1. Please advise if your company can supply a General Purpose light truck type vehicle with gross vehicle weight (GVW) between 3,500 - 4,700 kg fitted with diesel engine that complies with the European Emission Standard up to Euro 4 (Euro 0, 1,2,3 or 4) or equivalent. The light truck payload should allow it to be used as the basis for the following variants: a. Single Cabin Drop Side b. Double Cabin Drop Side c. Panel Van d. Single Cabin Tipper/Cargo Bed e. Ambulance f. Single Cabin Box Van / Cargo Body g. Flat Bed Cargo with Crane h. Domestic Fire / Rescue Truck 3.2. Please advise the make and model of the light truck, details of its engine and which variants, from those mentioned above, your company can offer. 3.3 In addition to the trucks, please advise if you can provide a complete after-sales support package for the light truck, that includes warranty, spare parts, technical documentation, training, technical support, etc. 3.4 Please advise also if you can provide the same light truck in compliance with the European Emission Standard Euro 5/6, as an option. If yes, please provide some detalis about respective truck (make and model & details of the engine) and the variants your company can offer. 3.5 Please advise if you can offer the AWD (4x4) feature for any of the offered light truck variants. As this is an RFI to assess market availability for commercial vendors for the purpose of developing a procurement strategy, interested vendors are highly encouraged to respond even if they can only meet some of the above requirements. Please also provide: A: General 1. A general description of your organization, its structure, years in business and the line of business dealing with similar services. 2. Brochures of the related products 3. List of recent examples providing similar products. 4. Confirmation that you are the manufacturer or, if not, that you are an athorized distributor/dealer of the manufacturer and that the manufacturer will co-sign the contract. 5. If you are not the manufacturer, detailed information the the manufacturer of the vehicles. 6. If you are not the manufacturer, information on how your company would ensure all products could be effectively managed and supported, including confirmation that the manufacturer would co-sign the contract. B. Estimated cost modalities/pricing: 1. What is a typical engagement modality with public sector or international organization such as the United Nations e.g., commercial pricing, public sector pricing? 2. What is your available pricing models and rate range for these products 3. Please provide information on any Long-Term Agreement with your clients, including international organizations/corporations. 4. Please advise if you can offer five year vehicle pricing as well as fixed prices for options, spare parts, tools and equipment, manuals and training.
