United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter referred to as UNON) on behalf of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for the Design and Development of the Information System for The Integrated Resilient Landscape Approach (SI-APRI) for UNEP. The project aims to strengthen environmental data management and monitoring in Haiti through: • Development of the SI-APRI system and integration of a pilot Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN) monitoring component under the project “Enabling Large-Scale Ecosystem Restoration in Haiti through the Piloting and Implementation of Payments for Environmental Services Schemes.” • Consolidation of the National Environmental Information System (NEIS) to improve data interoperability and institutional capacities. • Establishment of landscape-level information systems in the South and Grand-Anse regions. • Enhancement of real-time environmental monitoring using satellite data, web platforms, and GIS tools. • Support for evidence-based decision-making, improved coordination among stakeholders, and strengthened national reporting on LDN and related environmental indicators. These efforts collectively promote sustainable land management, ecosystem restoration, and resilience in Haiti’s vulnerable landscapes. Additional details, specifications, and terms of reference shall be provided in the tender document to be issued subsequent to this REOI. UNON invites companies to express their interest by clicking the "Express Interest" button on the UNGM portal. Specific Requirements/Information All applicants should be registered (free of charge) at United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). IMPORTANT: Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify companies that would be interested and eligible to participate in the solicitation when issued. UNON will examine the EOIs to shortlist potential companies to invite in the consecutive bidding process. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this Request for EOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued.The purpose of this REOI is to identify suitable firms who may be invited for the bidding exercise after the REOI is closed.
