New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Kindly find below the received clarifications and UNOPS responses:Q: Is it possible to use an electronic signature and stamp on the  required documentsUNOPS response: Yes, It is possibleQ: Regarding the medical gases, I believe there is a fault with the medical gas and vacuum system. The specified capacity is too low. I believe it should be 120 cubic meters per hour instead of 120 liters per minute.UNOPS response: The medical gas and vacuum system is designed according to the needs of the building. The building is a feeding center and doesn't require a system more than the size specified in the BOQ item. Hence, the bidder should quote for the item in the BoQ. Best regards 

New clarification added: Dear bidders,Kindly find below the received clarfications and UNOPS responses:Q: Kindly revise the qualification criteria, the duration period for similar contracts to  be during the last 10 years instead of last (5) Years.UNOPS response: Changing this criterion is not possible, we can't go back 10 years to assess bidders' capacityQ: Item 1.8.2The bill of quantities states granite measuring 600 mm x 600 mm x 8 mm.The drawings state 600 mm x 600 mm x 30 mm.Note that the belts section states that they are ceramic.Please clarify what we should follow.UNOPS response: As per UNOPS conditions of contract for small works, the drawing has priority over the BOQ. Hence, follow the requirements of the drawing for the pricing. Noting that the amended BOQ is uploaded under Documents tabBest regards

Add the Minutes of Meeting for the pre-bid meeting which was held on 13 October 2025, the document has been uploaded under the eSourcing Document tab.2. Upload the amended BOQ titled “BOQ TEC Bihan Hospital - Version 1” under the Documents tab. The update reflects a unit change from m³ to m² for item 2.3.1 in the sheet “01-ARCH&CIV.”3. Extend the submission deadline from 23 October 2025 to 27 October 2025, and the clarification deadline until 16 October 2025.All other terms and conditions remain the same

Is it possible for us to participate in the project?UNOPS response: Please refer to the qualification criteria "The bidder has experience successfully delivering similar three construction works contracts during the last [five (5)] years prior to bid opening. The value of at least one of the similar completed works must not be less than USD 600,000"2. we request you to extend the Bid as it is big and it needs time for the studing so that we are preparing the tender as per your requirements . UNOPS response: It is approved to extend it until Monday, 27 Oct 2025, 12:00 PM Yemen time.3.Item No. 2.3.1 Lightweight Reinforced Concrete for Site PavingBy reviewing the quantity calculations for the locations shown in the drawings, we find that the quantity of the item is very large and does not reflect reality unless there are other unspecified locations. (m3).Please clarify this and provide us with details of the steel diameters, numbers, and concrete thicknessUNOPS response: The actual quantities of each bill item might increase or decrease during implementation. The selected contractor will be paid for the actual work done. So, at this stage, the bidder shall quote for the quantities shown in the BOQ. However, the unit of measurement for this bill item is m² instead of M3. Hence, the BOQ item description and unit of measurement are updated. Please use the updated BOQ.The rebar arrangement is a Meshing rebar reinforcement of diameter 10 mm that is distributed at a spacing of 20 cm center to center, as indicated on the structural drawing S -17. the amended BOQ is uploaded under the document tab.Best regards
