New clarification added: Clarification Request – CYIMEX LLC (RFQ/2025/59008)Subject: Clarifications on Technical, Logistical, and Administrative Aspects of the RFQDear UNOPS Procurement Team,On behalf of CYIMEX LLC (CAGE Code 9LC21 | DUNS 119435442), we appreciate the opportunity to participate in this solicitation and kindly seek the following clarifications to ensure our quotation is fully compliant with UNOPS requirements:Equivalent Brands Acceptance:Could UNOPS please confirm whether technically compliant and globally recognized equivalents (such as Lenovo or HP models matching or exceeding the minimum specifications) are acceptable for Lots 1–4 in place of the brands used as examples in the RFQ?Delivery and Incoterms Clarification:Under the “DAP UNOPS New York” delivery term, could UNOPS specify whether import/customs clearance and associated duties are handled by UNOPS or remain the responsibility of the supplier?Multiple OEMs in a Single Lot:Is it permissible to offer a mix of OEM products (for example, Dell and HP laptops under the same lot) provided that each item complies fully with the technical specifications?Warranty Support Validation:For equipment supplied with a 3-year onsite or premium manufacturer warranty, would UNOPS require suppliers to submit proof of authorized reseller or OEM partnership status at the quotation stage, or only upon award?Answer,For lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, technically compliant and globally recognized equivalents are acceptable.Under the DAP (Delivered at Place) incoterm, all associated costs are the supplier's responsibility.While a similar OEM product is preferred, offering a mix of products is permissible.A 3-year onsite or premium manufacturer warranty is mandatory and must be included in your quote.
