“DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF BUNKER” at UNTSO HQ, Government House in Armon Hanatziv, Jerusalem. Main characteristics of this structure: 1. One pavement with approximately 180 SQM to host 60 numbers of UN staff. 2. Crises Management Room provision of network ducting for communications (up to ten users). 3. Emergency Medical Room; 4. Other areas to include: Toilets (M/F), Storage Area, Dormitory, Battery Room, Air in Filters Room, Generator Room and Canteen. Note1: Average of 3.0 SQM per person. Note 2: Structure to be buried 1.5m below ground level. Note 3: Bidders will have the option to: a) Use the given basic template, designed by UNTSO’s Architect (AM) and to develop it. b) Propose his own design solution. In both case, structural calculations and all pertaining drawings are of the bidder’s responsibility. c) Bidder should consider two separate price quotation: 1. Design concept and 2. Construction; Note 4: Mandatory design requirements: a) Bunker should be projected to resist 155mm shelling Biological, Chemical (BC) Protection with a possibility of being converted to NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) in further stages
