Description
The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for Project evaluation services for climate change adaptation projects. UN Environment is implementing ecosystem-based adaptation; urban EbA including green-grey engineering approaches, climate services for adaptation, agricultural including livestock, coastal management and the blue economy in 30+ developing countries in the developing world, funded by the International Climate Change Funds. The contractor awarded the Systems Contract will be responsible for carrying out mid-term reviews and terminal evaluations for these projects. The Mid-Term Review/Terminal Evaluation will be an in-depth evaluation using a participatory approach whereby key stakeholders are kept informed and consulted throughout the evaluation process. Both quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods will be used as appropriate to determine project achievements against the expected outputs, outcomes and impacts. The evaluation team will prepare; 1. Inception Report 2. Preliminary Findings Note 3. Draft and Final Evaluation Report The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. Specific Requirements/Information IMPORTANT: Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify companies that would be interested and eligible to participate in the solicitation when issued. UNON will examine the outcome of this request for EOI and will consider those companies that have expressed their interest . UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this Request for EOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued.
