New clarification added: Clarification:Kindly We need to clarify these points:- Section of Chain Link (hollow steel section of existing,...)- Can you estimate the volume of dismantling of pipes, ducts, EL and ME fixtures....- Wooden doors has to be solid wood or MDF painted wood?- Item 8.3.2: Thickness of glass to be repaired?- PVC Flooring : Is it PVC Panels or Vinyl ? Dear UNOPS Procurement team, UNOPS Reply: 1-Each school has a different type of chain-link fence, and there is no standardized design across all sites. The bidder is required to rehabilitate only the existing steel elements, not to replace them. The height of steel elements is specified in the BOQ in linear meters (lm), as the scope of work is limited to rehabilitation rather than full replacement.2-For each school, the BOQ specifies that the pricing for dismantling, removal, and relocation of mechanical items shall be provided as a lump sum per item. This approach has been adopted because the exact scope of work will be assessed on site at a later stage.3-For wooden doors, they are plastic laminated and the core is softwood-Please check the technical specs p.82 4-In cases where glass repair is required, the thickness of the replacement glass shall match the existing specifications. Accordingly, the UNOPS team recommends conducting site visits to the schools, as most of them follow the same technical requirements provided by MEHE. However, it is important to note that these site visits shall be carried out under the responsibility of the contractor.5-PVC Flooring for KGs is Vinyl-Please refer to the description in the BOQClarification:In reference to performance security template: It has to be issued by the bidder or by a guaranting institution? In addition, at the bidding phase no Contract is issued between the bidder and UNOPS please clarify whether the performance security should be issued at this phase or at the time of awarding? UNOPS Reply: The 5% performance security should be issued by the bidder's bank after awarding the contract.
