Provision of Renovation Works (Mezzanine & First Basement Floor) to the UN House Beirut - L‎ebanon

1. The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN-ESCWA) is seeking ‎expressions of interest from qualified companies for the renovation and remodeling of the ‎mezzanine and first basement floors at the UN House in Beirut. The works include conference ‎rooms with interpretation booths, an exhibition room, training center, gathering spaces, and ‎reception areas, with upgrades to electromechanical systems. 2. Interested companies must be ‎duly registered in the commercial register, authorized to exercise in this field of activity, and have ‎at least five (5) years of experience in executing fit-out and refurbishment projects. ‎3. Subcontractors may be engaged for electrical, mechanical, wood works, demountable ‎soundproof partitions, and soundproof ceilings.‎ 4. Firms that express interest will be invited to participate in the solicitation document which will be based on a detailed Scope of Work, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related requirements and documents. 5. Please note that UNESCWA precludes entering into a contract with a firm that is not fully registered in UNGM. For registration in UNGM, please refer to the notice, in the "Vendor Response Form" attached hereto. 6. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. The United Nations reserve the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time in the EOI and/or solicitation process. Those interested should write to the above-mentioned e-mail address or fax number to submit their “Expression of Interest” by the deadline of the EOI. The UN reserves the right to reject Expressions of Interest documents that are incomplete, or are received after the stated deadline. 7.
